Question: Can I move my 401k to another qualified account if I am still employed at the company the 401K was started at?

No. Only the plan sponsor (your employer) can make a vendor change and then it must be done for the entire plan.
If you are over age 59 1/2, your plan may allow for what are called Inservice Withdrawals which would allow you to rollover funds to an IRA while still employed. Check with your plan administrator to see if your plan offers this option. |
