20+ years ago I works for a company in Atlanta. They have sold out and I have moved a bunch. Wanted to find what the 401 was worth and who is holding it. Do I
dig through old files or is there an easier way?

Contact the new company's HR department.
You can also try http://www.freeerisa.com/ look for their 5500 filing. |

Thanks, already tried to find the new employer but they sold off parts of the business to multiple companies. I think the plans where given to a holding firm.
Not sure how to find any of the employees either after such a long time. So far freeerisa has not turned up anything. |
