Hi: I max out my contribution for the year, 15,000. Can I also max out a IRA, 4000 in the same year?

Yes, it is possible. Check with your tax advisor regarding the availability of a deductible, non-deductible, or Roth IRA, which depends on the amount of your Adjusted Gross Income.
Incidentally, the 401(k) deferral limit was raised to $15,500 for 2007. |
